The CMC Political Action Committee (PAC) was established in 2003 to raise funds
from California’s metalworking industry and utilize these funds to support
elected officials, candidates, or initiatives that benefit our industry in California.

CMC’s PAC is used to directly support those elected officials, candidates or initiatives that benefit the metalworking industry in California.

The CMC Political Action Committee (PAC) is registered with the state of California (PAC ID# 1264568). In accordance with state law, CMC reports to the Secretary of State its donations and where/when PAC funds are spent.

The CMC Political Action Committee maintains its own financial and legal independence, but is controlled by your CMC Board of Directors. The CMC Board of Directors is the oversight committee for CMC PAC actions and works in conjunction with CMC staff.
