PictureBronze seal at the state Capitol - Sacramento
California's government, both in size and complexity, rivals our nation's Capitol.

Los Angeles County alone is more populated than 80% of U.S. states.  And In Sacramento, over 2,500 new pieces of legislation are introduced each year to create new or amend California law.

California is home to:
  • 400 state agencies
  • 450 cities
  • 58 counties
  • 58 fire departments
  • 35 local air districts
  • 9 regional water quality boards

Oftentimes, the state or local issue is the one that hits your bottom line the quickest...and hardest.

Operating a metal company in California means tracking proposed regulations, participating in the rule making process, and understanding the capabilities/tendencies of each agency.   Cities, counties, fire departments, state agencies, local air districts, regional water boards, and the state Legislature all have unique political drivers and decision makers.  Each can also have different enforcement, permitting, taxation and/or rulemaking capabilities.

Government is best navigated with experts, much like using a lawyer in the legal system.  Securing CMC as your advocate is a  wise and valuable investment.
